The Podzemelj Camping is sited in the most southern and smallest region in Slovenia – Bela krajina by the road running from Metlika to Crnomelj, just after the village of Gradac. Description The Kamp Alpe campsite lies in the middle of unspoiled nature at the foot of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, close to the Kamniška Bistrica River and directly at the cable car to Velika planina - a distinctive alpine pasture, one of the most popular tourist spots in Slovenia. The campsite is 25 km away from Ljubljana, 50 km from Bled and 120 km from the Slovenian coastline. In the shade of the trees, on a grassy area, 30 spaces for tents and a few parking spaces for motor homes are available. Furthermore, in the woods at the edge of the camp, 6 alpine huts, suitable for two to three persons, have been built. Wooden houses without electricity provide a unique and unforgettable experience of stay in the wild. Adequate sanitary facilities and showers are located in two containers, all parcels have electricity, there are two dishwashing areas and an open-air area with a fireplace. <div>The nearby holiday camp that can accommodate 100 guests and is open throughout the year enriches the variety of the offer in Terme Dolenjske Toplice. The camp lies by the brook Sušica opposite of the Balnea Wellness Centre.</div><br /><div>The Dolenjske Toplice Camp is of category 3*** and was completely renovated in the spring of 2005. Seventeen contemporarily equipped spots with electric connection, water supply, and faecal outlet, one part of the site is meant for tents. Besides swimming in the Balnea Wellness Centre that is only about 100 metres away, our guests can also use tennis courts, volleyball, football, basketball fields, and a field for hockey on skateboards. The camp is a starting point for fishing, boating on the river Krka, and the near Kočevski Rog is considered to have the richest hunting grounds in Slovenia. There are many cycling tracks and walking paths in the surroundings, our guests can also attend interesting trips, and social and cultural events we organise in the spa.</div><br />

<div>In the idyllic alpine summer resort of <strong>Mojstrana</strong> where the mountains tower abundantly lies the attractive and peaceful Kamne campground. Guests can spend the nights in bungalows and in tents.<br />The camp offers a small swimming pool, tennis courts, and table tennis and rents mountain bikes on which guests can explore the surroundings. Fishing licenses can also be obtained at the camp.<br />The campground is close to Triglav National Park and the marvelous alpine valleys of <strong>Vrata</strong>, <strong>Kot</strong>, and <strong>Krma</strong> so it is an ideal starting point for numerous easier or more demanding tours of the Julian Alps and the Karavanke Mountains, and particularly for the climb to the top of <strong>Mount Triglav</strong>, the symbol of the Slovene nation and statehood. The campground staff will make sure that you start on your way with suitable maps and all the information you need.</div>
In the Primorska region, not far away from Vipava you can find a pleasant village Vrhpolje. The Roman times have left their prints on its ground. In the year 394, a battle between the Roman Caesar Teodosius and a rebel Eugenius took place on the field between the village Duplje and the Zemono hill. History books say that the Bora wind or burja affected the outcome of the battle and helped Teodosius, as it turned arrows into Eugenius’ soldiers. Today, the village is known after its acknowledged wine-makers and splendid wines, which are all a part of Vipava wine road. The village Vrhpolje is an excellent starting point, from where you can explore the beauty of nature. You can climb the plateau Nanos, which is a paradise for those, who like cycling and walking. Near the village, there is also a climbing wall in the gorge of the stream Bela, which attracts a lot of climbers from Slovenia and abroad. For visitors, who want to spend more time in Vrhpolje and the Vipava Valley, there is now a camping site available – Pouletov kamp – right by the church of St. Primož and Felicijan. Pouletov kamp is owned by the Kobal family that always cheers up its guests with kindness and good spirits. The Kobal family makes their own wine, so you can visit their wine cellar as well. You can hide in the shade of the fruit trees and in the evening hours you can visit the local sites, go cycling or maybe visit the nearby climbing walls in the gorge of the stream Bela. For those, who like parachuting, there is a well-known takeoff point Kovk, from where you can fly over the valley of sun, Bora wind and vineyards.

It is situated at the heart of the Savinja Valley, which is known for its hop plantations, practically in the geographical centre of Slovenia, which makes it a perfect base for excursions around the country. It offers plenty of possibilities for recreation, walking, hiking, climbing and a good time in a serene landscape. The campground has received numerous awards for its quality of service.
Surrounded by the peace and tranquility of the Obla gorica forest, the Radovljica campground is located in the Gorenjska town of Radovljica conveniently close to stores, banks, post office, and train and bus stations. In the summer heat, guests can refresh themselves in the new 50-meter Olympic swimming pool and the new heated children's pool, play beach volleyball, and visit the fitness center, snack bar, and pizzeria. In 2001, the swimming pool was named the best-run swimming pool in Slovenia for the fifth straight year. The area around the Radovljica campground offers many opportunities for hiking, mountain trekking, and bicycling as well as rafting on the Sava Bohinjka and Sava Dolinka rivers. Nearby are tennis courts, areas for football, basketball, handball, and boules, and a new children's playground. Radovljica itself offers a fascinating Apiculture Museum, an art gallery in the medieval Šivec House, a forest education trail, and a Festival of Early Music every August.

It spans 4.5 hectares and accommodates up to 700 guests. The campground includes tennis courts, table tennis and badminton areas, and a new children's playground. There is also a sports hall in the immediate vicinity. During summer, the campground runs various organised entertainment and cultural programmes. In addition to swimming and fishing in the Sava River and Lake Bohinj, campground guests can also enjoy numerous nature-friendly sports, notably rowing, sailing, wind surfing, rafting, hydrospeeding, canyoning, kayaking, canoeing, paragliding, hang-gliding, mountain biking and horseback riding. Embraced by the Julian Alps and Triglav National Park, the area offers numerous possibilities for hiking, mountaineering and rock climbing. <div>Beside Zbilje Lake only twenty kilometers from Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, the Smlednik campground on the left bank of the Sava River boasts a forty-year history. Its setting of forests and green fields offers guests <strong>peace and relaxation</strong> and a choice of sites in the sun or the shade right on the lake or a little farther from the water.<br />Attractive modern bungalows are available for those who want to spend their holiday in somewhat more comfort.<br />Those who love water will relax on the beach and swim in the lake, go boating, or try catching some fish. The catch can be prepared on the grill since the campground has a special area for organized picnics (which include the use of the sports areas or grassy areas and the option of renting tables and grills), even in bad weather. The campground also offers table tennis, tennis courts, volleyball, basketball, boules, and open-air chess. There is a snack bar in the camp where in an attractive grove of hornbeam guests can order grilled fish specialties. Mushrooms grow abundantly in the area, and there are numerous possibilities for walking, mountaineering and climbing, bicycling, and horseback riding. The camp is an excellent starting point for trips to historical Škofja Loka, Kamnik, and Kranj, to the Kamniške Alps, and, of course, to Ljubljana.<br />A special feature of the Smlednik campground is an area set aside especially <strong>for nudists</strong> with its own washroom facilities and beach.<br /></div><br />
<strong>area: 3 ha / sites: 150 / guests: 450 </strong> Kamp Nadiža, embraced by the Stol mountains to the north and Mija to the south, is located in the village of Podbela in Breginjski Kot, right where the rivers Nadiža and Bela converge. It draws visitors who love unspoilt nature and clean rivers with beautiful gravel banks. The local people even claim that the Nadiža River has healing properties. The camp is well situated for active holidays. Guests can swim in the natural pools of the Nadiža, play volleyball, table tennis, basketball, football, badminton and boules, and enjoy cycling. The slopes of Stol, which rises 1,673 metres above sea level, are ideal for hiking, paragliding and hang-gliding.
